The Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS), also known as the Spine Section of the APOA, is an educational and scientific forum for the advancement of knowledge in the field of spine surgery, for the education of the patients, the clinicians, and the researchers. The mission of the society is to advance the science, art, and practice of spine surgery and promulgate the maintenance of professional standards in order to provide the best professional care to patients with spinal problems. The APSS holds meetings, conferences, operative courses to provide sharing platforms for clinical and research members. The APSS conferences and fellowships are highly sought after by young surgeons from the Asia Pacific region while established and renowned senior surgeons provide the experience and resources to assist the young surgeons.
