Emil Shakov, M.D., FACS is a board-certified general surgeon in Central New Jersey in practice since 2010. He is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. Following his graduation, Dr. Shakov obtained a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic Surgery, and Bariatrics. He specializes in all forms of general surgery, including hernia repair, gallbladder removal, appendectomy, and colon surgeries. Dr. Shakov's philosophy includes giving patients the opportunity to make educated decisions regarding elective surgery and giving the patients the best outcomes during emergency operations.
