Dr. Cancienne is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic shoulder, knee, hip, and sports medicine specialist serving the greater New Orleans area and surrounding communities. Dr. Cancienne's practice incorporates the latest surgical and non-surgical strategies to return patients to their desired activity levels. These strategies include patient-centered approaches with an emphasis on minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for rotator cuff pathology, shoulder instability, ligamentous and cartilage knee injuries, and femoroacetabular impingement of the hip. In addition, he also specializes in revision surgery, including anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty, cartilage restoration/transplantation, and multi-ligament knee reconstruction.
