The Oklahoma Throwing Athlete Association (OTAA) is a nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Clayton Nelson, an orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained upper extremity specialist to provide a comprehensive resource for players, coaches, trainers, clinicians and parents for information regarding injuries in the throwing athlete. The aim is to educate, prevent and treat common throwing injuries such as shoulder and elbow problems.
