The Patellofemoral Center belongs to the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, Illinois, and is dedicated to the management of patellofemoral disorders of the knee. Its main providers include orthopedic surgeons Adam B. Yanke, M.D. Ph.D., and Monica Kogan M.D. Associate Professor. Patellofemoral disorders refer to pain under and around your kneecap which may be associated with certain conditions affecting the knee and patella. These include patellar dislocations and lateral or medial patellar instability. Dr. Adam B. Yanke is a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon with an interest in advanced arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, and a special focus on patellofemoral dysfunction and cartilage restoration. Dr. Monica Kogan has fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
